Brazilian Law (Leis Brasileiras)
This course introduces students to the most common concepts in Brazilian law and its legal system. Students will learn some legal history, fundamentals of the Brazilian criminal and civil justice systems, common law and the basis for forming and enforcing contracts in Brazil. Intended for law practitioners, students will distinguish legal terms and discuss their applications in Brazilian society and business.
